A bit of a clickbait title, there, was it not?

Yes, after the "Great War", America was relatively isolationist and didn't want to have more American men killed in a another foreign war.

A position that greatly reversed itself after the attack on Pearl Harbor by Japan.

Great Britain alone? Nope. Right about that one But then again, I knew about that one.

Hitler solely to blame? Depends on your point of view, I suppose. Hitler enjoyed wide support, yes, but not supporting him tended to draw the eye of the SS... often with fatal results. Then there was that plot to have him killed... not sure if that counted as "support" either.

Regardless, it wouldn't appear that "everything" we know about WWII is wrong...
