And again, over capitalization tends to read as shouting or the literary equivalent of pounding on the table, which in turn, again, tends to come off as an uneducated rant, devoid of meaningful information.
Just read the average Twitter/Facebook post.
Used once or twice? Emphasis. Every single paragraph? Ranting.
Your argument is either convincing on its own merits, or it's not.
Finally, you seem to think that there's some sort of sexism involved here just because I'm male and the commenter happened to be female. Just to be clear, I don't care if you're a man, a woman, or a Martian; my remarks would have been the same.
And for that matter, would you have written the same response with the same vitriol if I'd obviously been female? If the commenter had been male?
Or were you just automatically triggered when you saw a male's response to woman's post?
Think about it. 'Cause sexism is a two-way street...
