As mentioned, and from my perspective, this very much ends up with mobile being an Android-first development environment, with Apple support added after the fact and limited by the constraints baked into the system on the Android side.

If SwiftUI, for example, was taken to the next level and you could create Android applications in it and Swift, then the constraints would be on the other side.
