Be interesting to see how this compares in cost to the catenary overhead lines for trucking which are also in the R&D stage.

Doesn't help cars, but then again electrifying highways isn't really going to help the street parking crowd anyway unless they're spending a significant amount of time on the highway themselves.

I'd also question not just the installation costs but the maintenance costs. What happens the next time that section of highway needs to be repaved?
