CDC estimates that as few as 12,000 and up to 61,000 deaths annually since 2010 can be blamed on the flu. Annually.

We’re currently at 90,000 deaths here in the US, all effectively in the last three months. I’ll leave the calculation for the potential annual rate up yo you.
