Did you miss the fact that your story makes the exact opposite point?

Apple is the king of iteration. They introduce a product, and then they iterate and iterate until the thing is polished to a high gloss.

I think you also missed that fact that iPhone sales as a percentage of revenue has decreased, while total sales and profits have gone up. In other words, Apple has been diversifying into other product lines.

Oh. Did you mean diversifying into something OTHER than consumer electronics? Something perhaps even more profitable?

They did. But I guess you missed that one too. ;)

That being the case, I think I'll hold onto my Apple stock...
