Diet? Seriously? On my Mac the Home app is 12.2 MB.

Sounds like a lot, but my average photo size these days is 2MB. I have a single 12 second home video I just downloaded from my phone that's 79MB... or 6 times larger.

My current drive is 4TB, or 4,000,000 megabytes .

Which means that app takes up 0.000305% of my available drive space. Delete ALL of the apps you're complaining about, and it still would be a mere fraction of one percent of the space available.

I don't think "bloated" is the word I'd use here.
