Funny you should mention iPods as an Apple success. I believe the AirPods have already hit “peak iPod”, by themselves selling more per quarter than Apple’s original best-selling product.

The Apple Watch already hit “peak iPod” by themselves a few months back.

Apple’s wearable business — by itself — is the size of a Fortune 300 company.

And if you’re an existing Apple iPhone customer and you buy a watch and a pair of AirPods, then guess what? Apple made roughly the same amount of profit as they would have done selling you yet another iPhone.

Which, in a couple of years, they’ll probably also do.

Not to mention the ever increasing amount of money they make per iPhone user from the App Store and from their various subscription services.

Frankly, I’m tired of reading Forbes and Business Insider’s articles that insist — again and again and again — that Apple is doomed.

They’ve said the same exact thing year after year after year now… for the past couple of decades.

Hasn’t happened.

And it’s pretty much caused me to lose any respect I might have had for those publications and what passes for “analysis” in their articles. All they demonstrate is that they don’t understand Apple and they definitely don’t understand Apple’s customers.
