Go back and look at points 1-4 at the beginning of the article. I've worked as a consultant and developer in a lot of corporate shops, and I will say again that all of those points are a concern.

Development on multiple platforms is expensive, and almost all of those shops continue to look for ways to cut costs. That usually expresses itself through automation of pipelines and build processes, automated testing, and through exploration of tools like KMP, Flutter, etc..
