I appreciate the time it took to supposedly build an air-tight case... but it took too long.

Donald thinks that all he needs to do now is delay the trials and due process until he can get elected again, whereupon he'll immediately issue himself and his cronies a presidential pardon.

And he's right. Give him a chance to do so, and he'll do it.
