And perovskite solar cells look to be coming soon, which avoids some of your issues around toxicity.

As near as I can tell, there are no perfect solutions for anything. So we need to balance tradeoffs and move towards doing less harm to ourselves and the planet.

The person who waits for perfect always does just that....
