I guess customers haven’t gotten the message, since according to Vice, “It Is Currently Impossible to Exchange Money for an iPhone

It appears that the iPhone 11 Pro is sold out in stores all over the country and Apple store workers don’t know when they’re getting more shipments.

Whereas just this morning I walked into an Apple store and walked out with an iPhone 11, of which plenty seemed to be in stock. (Not my phone though, as I bought it as an iOS test device for my company.)

So the expensive phone is in short supply because everyone’s buying them, and the “coming to reality” phone is readily available. Huh.

Yep. Apple’s getting the message, all right…
