I have to have a phone and computer. I use a smart watch. Those things must come from somewhere and at the moment they come from Apple.

Is Apple perfect? Hell no!

There are definitely things they could do better. But I resent the implication that I didn't reason myself into my position.

For example, I do tend to trust them just a bit more than Google, and Macs are much better at evading viruses and exploits than those running Microsoft Windows.

I also find their hardware and software quality, design, fit, and finish to be better across the board.

Should Apple support multiple stores? Probably, though I suspect that the developers who want such things haven't fully considered the implications.

Support right to repair? Definitely.

Store percentages? Mixed emotions there. They build the store and platform. They run the platform. They provide access to billions of customers. And their percentages are pretty much the same as Google, Microsoft, and even stores on game consoles.

Cave on China? Could phrase it that way... but do you expect Apple (or any company) to NOT follow the law in countries where they sell their products?
