I really can’t believe that articles like this exist other than the fact that anything Apple gathers headlines.

What’s the environmental impact of a pair of disposed AirPods vs an obsolete desktop computer or an old plasma TV? Heck, how many old wired ear buds have we disposed of to date?

Or if you really, really, really wanted to make an impact, how about decrying the megatons of “promotional” e-waste generated each and every year for trade shows, company promotions and “team building”, and concert and party junk?

And 90% of it probably goes straight home and straight into the trash can. (It probably takes another week or so for the rest of it to get there.)
