I was around for the Lisa and Macintosh introductions, so I appreciate your "history" lessons. ;)

That said, I still feel like it's an early Macintosh, NOT a Lisa. The Lisa was $10,000 dollars.. in 1983 dollars. That's basically $30K in 2024 dollars.

The original Macintosh (which I owned, first of many), was $2,500 at that time, or about $7,500 in today's dollars.

The Vision Pro may be expensive... but it's not really *that* expensive in comparison. And one has to consider all of the things it could eventually replace.

I'll end by echoing what several other people have said about it, "What's interesting is that this is going to be the absolute worst Vision Pro Apple will ever produce."

The future is going to be interesting.
