I was with you up to the last line. While a “cross-platform” strategy may make sense for some applications, indicating that a reason to do so would be its future support for Fuchsia and Hongmeng is somewhat spurious.

While Flutter on Fuchsia is a no-brainer (since supposedly one is built on the other), I’d question whether Google would ever officially support Flutter on Hongmeng.
