If you go into writing assistance, or image generation, or, perhaps, into search and ask Apple AI a question, it has the ability to come back and say, "A better answer could be obtained from ChatGPT. Do you want to ask it?"
That occurs each and every time, and the user's permission is required. Fundamentally it's no different from the user going into the ChatGPT app, asking a question there, and then coming back copying/pasting the result.
Is the idiot going to ban Android and Google Gems as well?
And by the way, Will. If you're going to write about such things it would need to be nice if you spent at least five minutes or so researching how they actually work, and not make assumptions that are false to fact.
From my perspective, lack of journalistic integrity is the real elephant in the room.
