It's gotten to the point on Medium where I can often recognize who wrote an article just from seeing the headline.

One is umair haque's semingly-never-ending series of "the world is ending" articles.

And then there's the "let me tell you why, regretfully, I'm stabbing the Democratic party in the back" articles.

Yours, not to put too fine a point on it.

This article is just another needle in the same vein. "Oh, how I wish I could vote for the Democratic party, but they’re just not what they once used to be." I can even see the smile on your face as you ask us to come closer and join you in your angst... all while hiding the dagger in the small of your back.

I really can't tell if you're simply unable to recognize that it’s possible to advocate for change without killing your best chance of realizing it... or if you're just some Republican suppress-the-vote operative in disguise.

You've written elsewhere that you write these things because you can't make enough coin in your day job. All well and good, I suppose.

I hope your 30 pieces of silver are of some solace in the years to come should your efforts at sabotage actually pay off.
