It's obvious from the changes in 1.0 to 2.0 to 3.0 that Apple is listening to developer feedback and "growing" SwiftUI.
In light of that, the only thing ridiculous here would be have been expecting Apple to have released a full-fledged 100% feature complete replacement for UIKit on day one.
I do wish Aplle had done a few things differently, but I'm not so dumb as to think TC is ruining the company because Apple's engineers didn't implement pull-to-refresh in verion one of SwiftUI.
If I remember correctly, the illustrious SJ didn't even both implementing "obvious" features like developer based apps or even copy-and-paste on the original iPhone.
