Like the article, but a bit of constructive criticism if you don't mind.

What you're saying is important, and each of the various thoughts and ideas that make up your essay are important to it. But the overall format which continually shifts from quotes to bold to italics and back to bold again is a bit difficult to read and follow.

Every such transition is a mental jolt, forcing the mind to switch gears. And each switch disrupts the flow of the piece.

Or to put it another way, if everything is emphasized... then nothing is.

Let your words carry the story. Not parlor tricks.
