LinkedIn is a fairly decent jobs platform if you're a management type, a professional, or a technical type like an engineer or software developer (me).

I get hit up by recruiters there almost daily, and my former and current job both came from people following up on my profile.

But LinkedIn is NOT Facebook. It is not "the company formerly known as Twitter."

My LinkedIn connections tend to post relevant news, events, tips and tricks, and so on.

But if your posts are complaining about politics, about the current (or former) president, or if you get engaged in a conversion where one side or the other starts throwing around terms like "woke", then yeah, you're missing the point.

And you'll probably end up in jail.
