Love my Apple TV. That said, however, I'd advise investing in a good soundbar w/subwoofer as opposed to going with dual HomePods. Tried it and the sound was... okay, but lacked depth and bass.

Have a LG 7.1 Dolby soundbar w/subwoofer with wireless rear channel speakers and love it.

Apple is so close to solving the problem with the HomePods, but they need to sell a system with dual HomePods, dual minis for the back channel, and a "BassPod" in order to have a truly great home theater setup.
