My biggest regret here is that I clicked into this article, which bumps the payout, which in turn indirectly promotes the creation of more junk just like it.

As has been mentioned, if you want a less "over powered" machine with better "design", then buy an Air. Or even an iPad Pro.

Professional tools shouldn't sacrifice functionality over design. That "illusion" of thinness probably cost you 20% of battery life and another 20% in performance due to airflow, throttling, etc..
