Not sure what else I’d do if I were them. SwiftUI leans heavily on reactive components and I wouldn’t want to require app developers to load a third-party library.

That leave rolling your own or baking a third-party library into the system.

Not to mention that Combine apparently has a ton of performance optimizations. You know, stuff you can do when you own the language…..
