Of course business "leaders" are cheering Musk.
People are "slacking" by refusing to work 80 hour weeks? Fire them.
People want to make a living? Fire them, and try to find people who'll work for less.
People don't want to spend half their lives in traffic jams driving to and from offices? Tell them to come in or, you guessed it, they're fired.
People are concerned about whether or not the company behaves ethically? Definitely fire THEM.
People want to be treated humanely and with respect? Screw that. There's work to be done.
People want benefits and safe working conditions? Are they crazy? Every dollar spent on benefits and improving conditions is a dollar that doesn't go to profits.
Want any of the above? You're just being a whiny, "entitled" employee.
Get over it.
Listen to this man.
He's not a billionaire, but he'll cheer Musk and Bezos and all of the others on, telling us that "success" and "winning" in business is only obtainable by treating your employees like expendable cattle who're to be driven as hard as possible and fed as little as possible until they get sick, wander off, and die.
At which point it's time to round up a few more head and add them to the herd...
Move 'em out.
