One thing that always struck me about SmallTalk was how you'd look inside a method and see a line or two of code, and then it would make another method call.

Look inside that method and see a line or two of code, and then it would make another method call. Repeat as often as needed. Rinse.

Nobody really did anything, and yet everything managed to get done... Amazing. ;)
