Or… not. The vast majority of 401K funds are things like large caps, small caps, etc., balanced with bonds, treasuries, and so on. Hedge funds are a specialized breed of high-risk investment and as such I sincerely doubt that anywhere near “52% of households have been adversely affected”.
And which kind of ignores the fact that I find the whole idea repulsive anyway. Hedge funds are basically hyenas and jackals betting on when the prey is going to drop.
