Or, you know, we can do better at recycling and recover the glass, aluminum, and other materials and use them to make newer, more efficient panels.

Same for batteries. In fact one study indicated that by 2055 or so we'll have mined enough lithium that new battery production will simply be able to use recycled material.

That said, nuclear may well be part of the answer. But we really can't wait a decade or more to build plants that won't produce power or decrease CO2 emissions by a single gram until they're completed.

Build one. THEN let me know how it worked out.
