Quite a few years ago I was attending the West Coast Computer Faire and saw the Apple Lisa and Xerox Star for the first time.

When I looked at those screens I had felt little fingers crawling up and down my back and I remember thinking, "This is it. This is how it's going to be from now on."

Those early WYSIWYG systems never really entered the mass-market, but the effects of both changed the world from that point on.

This gives me the same feeling.
