Really went from assembly/BASIC (Apple ][) to assembly/Object Pascal (Mac) to Objective-C to Swift.

All of the others are scripting languages or playthings that were never mainstream tools used to build actual applications or apps. So for all intents and purposes they tend to switch around every 15 years or so.

At any rate, Apple's just starting to get Swift where they want it to be. Doubt they're going to drop it anytime soon.
