Saw another projection a couple of days ago that said within 24 months an EV will cost less than the equivalent ICE, most due to competition in battery technology.

So what happens to sales the second an EV is cheaper to buy, cheaper to fuel (volts<gas), and cheaper to maintain (no oil changes, tuneups, etc.)?
