So CA sales are an outlier? Hmmm. I wonder why?

I mean, other than the fact the Tesla was in CA and as such CA had an initial leg up in sales. CA is also home to most of the tech companies in the US, and many of those technology enthusiasts were early adopters.

Your argument regarding the "rush" in 2022 also falls flat. You realize, of course, that pretty much every EV in existence is backordered? The biggest problem at the moment seems to be that manufacturers can't build the things fast enough.

It's not that people aren't buying them. It's that they CAN'T buy them.

And I'm not sure I really qualify the Volt as an EV. GM basically fitted some batteries and an electric motor into a thoroughly lackluster ICE vehicle and then wondered why the world didn't beat a path to their door.

I can see why you wouldn't be impressed.
