Try rereading what I've said thus far for clarity. What I've said and again is that blanket, across the board tariffs are stupid. Your example of EU imposing 62% tariffs on China electric bikes is a specific, targeted tariff/policy.
Your Reuters article doesn't appear to say what you think it does either. Almost all of the companies mentioned are foreign, so US companies aren't "reshoring". They're foreign companies building facilities here in order to bypass tariffs. Further, to remain competitive most will heavily automate leaving few jobs available for the American worker.
As to "Imagine Trump does actually seize Greenland and Canada"... WTF? Seizing other nations by force is never the answer.
You'd think someone from Belgium would understand that.
