The article has 15K views, 238 fans, and just 53 comments. The comments are heavily biased towrds the negative (5-1) but some seem to agree with me.

The majority of negative comments come from Flutter developers, which is understandable.

Regardless, I think I have to stand by my opinions, especially the one concerning Google's tendancy to run hot and cold on projects not central to their primary mission.
