The Volvo EX30 looks to do about about 4.2. Yes, it's slightly smaller than a Y, but from what I've seen the fit and finish on the EX30 is much better than that of the Y.
The Y has the price tag of a $40K vehicle... coupled with the interior fit and finish of a Yugo. It just feels cheap.
Regardless, lot's of people buy ICEs that don't get 35 MPG either. Turns out that there's more to vehicle choice than just "efficiency".
