There will always be newer versions with newer CPUs, GPUs, etc., etc.. The only real question to ask is whether or not what's available now going to make an immediate difference in your productivity and your workflow TODAY.

If not, them yeah, wait for something that does. If it would, then buy it and use it until the next version codes out.... and then make the same evaluation.
