There’s this thing called “opinion” and I believe there’s something else known as “experience”. These are mine.

Read the comments and you’ll see some people disagree while some others agree, and that many, on both sides, took the time to explain their positions, thereby furthering the conversation.

Unfortunately, however, there are also quite a few comments like this one, which I’d normally just ignore...

But in this particular case, I just wanted to say that I’m getting a bit tired of having people automatically label anything that happens to conflict with their personal worldview “fake news”.

It’s endemic of that ostrich-like, head-in-the-sand, fingers-in-the-ears, dismissive lack of thinking that’s lead us to where we are today…
