They're cheating now... but what happens in college?

Or in the workplace, where they actually have to demonstrate competence in the field?

I suspect that as time goes on we're going to see more and more emphasis placed not on homework, but on classroom discussion, with fewer "written" tests and essays and more oral examinations and boards.

Actually, forget "suspect". I've been interviewing recently and I can tell you that I've already seen fewer "take home" coding assignments and a lot more discussion and "write code right in front of us" interviews.

The ones that cheat may not be the future CEOs... mostly because they may not even be able to get their foot in the door.
