Twitter died the instant Elon bought it and turned it into a "free speech" hellscape that ignored followers and gave you a biased, algorithmic feed instead.

People made fun of his paying $44B for a service that's been wrecked to the point where it's only worth $10B today.

Maybe. But was $44B too much to pay to buy a presidency?

Your story is sad, but it also fully demonstrates the power of the platform. To paraphrase Upton Sinclair: "It is difficult to get a man to change platforms when his salary depends on not doing so."

You may want that toxicity in your life, but I can do without it.
