While I agree with this statement, the problem is that there still are a lot of people out there who disagree with it, and who think white privilege should exist.

Who think--or who've been told--thta all of our problems are caused by people of color, and that America would be "Great Again" if said people were just... gone.

Finally, and respectfully, I have to disagree with your basic premise.

I'm a white male, pretty much the epitome of white privilege in America. I know that, should I be involved in a police stop, my risk of being searched, harassed, or shot is much, much lower than that of others.

Heck, my risk of even being stopped is lower.

And while you may feel that you've risen about that, I might ask if you've seen the movie Crash (2004)? Or paid attention to some of Donald's followers?

This may be 2024 and not the '60s. But that doesn't mean that all of those inequalities have disappeared.

Or that some don't long for a return to those times.
