Wick is the cinematic experience of playing a video game in god mode, where the player is unstoppable and unkillable.
Watching the news, I sometimes think that too many people overly identify with the character. That they fantasize how, given a chance, that they could do the same in real life, dealing out "justice" and retribution as they see fit.
But they never seem to realize how much more likely it would be that they're not the hero, but simply one of the nameless horde lying broken and bleeding along the many hallways, stairwells, and streets.
