Will discretionary money continue to be spent?

I'm now working from home and I'm spending less money than before. Millions of people have lost jobs and they're definitely spending less money than before.

Entire industries (airlines, travel, entertainment, oil & gas) are laying off people and downsizing.

The economic hit is going to be huge, and its not going to be mitigated by the fact I'm now spending a bit more money at my local grocery store.
