Written from the perspective of someone that doesn't understand the benefits of "incremental" upgrades.
Market research shows that the vast majority of people keep their phones for 2-3 years, or, for some, even longer. So while this iPhone is "just" an incremental upgrade from the 13, it is, in fact, a pretty major upgrade in terms of speed and functionality for someone whose current phone is an 11 or an X.
And different people are in different stages of the process. So if they just bought the 13 last year, then they're probably good until the 16 or 17 rolls around in '24 or '25.
So congratulations! You got your wish! A major phone upgrade every 2-3 years!
