"you know what else, many of them are far more educated than you are no offense!"

So educated that they understand correct grammar and puncuation in written communications?

Regardless, I think there's a major distinction in that many who voted "for Trump" didn't vote specifically for Trump.

A rather large percentage of people are going to vote Republican no matter who is on the ticket. Same goes for those people who always vode the Democratic ticket.

Another large percentage may be religious conservatives and single issue voters (abortion, 2nd Amendment) whose views more closely align with a particular party.

There are also many Republicans who despise the man: Never Trumpers, The Lincoln Project, Republicans for the Rule of Law.

Bottom line is that I think it's fair to say that many of those "far more educated" people voted Republican... and not for Trump.
