You make some interesting points. Yet for me, I'm interested in the computing aspects possible with the device.

I have a desk that's barely big enough to hold multiple notebooks and monitors. What if I could replace that gear with something that gives me the virtual equivalent of three 32" Pro XDR displays? (At 5K apiece, I might add.) What if I could reclaim that space for my family? What's that worth to me?

You discuss the need for connections.... but many people get those today via their devices. Go anywhere, and you'll see people already immersed in their phones and tablets and notebooks. I don't expect to to see many Vision Pros in public... but in private? At home?

Moving on, what if I want to watch a movie on my own on a "big" screen and not watch The Little Mermaid for the 78th time? What if most of us want to watch something on the big screen, but my son would rather have his own "big screen" for a game?

Or as far as big screens go, I have room in my place for that 85" screen... but does someone else have room for one in their apartment?

You discuss the downsides to using the devices recording features and I tend to agree. But then again, is it that much more distracting than having said parents perpetually holding up phones or iPads to record the event? Or, to go back awhile, than having parents shoulder bulky camcorders to do the same?

I could go on, but I think I'll just borrow a line from your article, "Betting against a first-generation Apple product is a bad trade..."
